How do you introduce a new airline fare in a way that goes beyond advertising and lets people actually experience what it offers? We turned the launch of the new Economy Standard fare into a large-scale interactive experience.
The project took place on International Children’s Day at Novosibirsk Zoo. That same day, S7 became a patron of the zoo’s entire bird collection - 185 species - and we brought this partnership into the experience as well.
Designed to resemble an aircraft fuselage, the stand featured photo zones with suitcases and real aircraft seats, a large LED screen and a series of interactive activities. Each benefit of the new fare became part of the game: guests sorted items between checked and carry-on baggage, “exchanged” their ticket for a new travel destination in an AI photo booth, and explored different seating options.
For younger guests, we created suitcase-packing and luggage-tag customization workshops, a Memory game featuring birds supported by S7, and the “Neuro Ticket” - an interactive screen that scanned your hand and revealed where you should travel that summer.
One game mechanic connected the entire experience: guests received their own boarding journal, collected stamps for completing activities and entered a prize draw to win suitcases filled with amazing gifts.
More than 10,000 people visited the activation in a single day. Instead of simply presenting the new fare, we turned it into a journey - one that began long before boarding the plane.
